AI Suggestions: Regular vs. Research-Backed
AI Suggestions offers two different ways to ask for help filling in an album's details. They use the same review-and-accept flow afterward, but they gather their answers differently.
Request AI Suggestions
Fast suggestions drawn from the album data you already have on file. Choose which fields you want suggestions for and generate them all at once. This is the everyday option for filling in routine fields quickly.
Request Research-Backed Suggestions
A slower, one-category-at-a-time search that looks for genuinely new facts about the pressing from the web — recording history, mastering reputation, and similar — rather than just reasoning from what's already on file. This can take up to a minute, and each fact it finds comes with a source you can review. Use this when you want a well-sourced fact you don't already have, not just a cleanup of existing data.
Tip: if suggestions are already pending review, you'll need to accept or reject them before requesting more of either kind.
Once you have suggestions to review, see Reviewing and Accepting AI Suggestions.
