Troubleshooting Photo and Google Photos Problems
A few things to check if Google Photos or a photo isn't behaving the way you expect.
The Google Photos option isn't showing up
The Choose from Google Photos button only appears when Google Photos is connected and available for your account. If you don't see it, you can still add photos the ordinary way — Take Photo or Choose Existing Photo both work independently of Google Photos.
The picker didn't return any photos
Close the picker tab and try again from Album Scan. If it keeps happening, add the photos directly from your device instead — Album Scan treats photos the same way regardless of where they came from.
A photo is in the wrong slot
Each photo's slot can be changed right in the Selected Photos tray — just pick a different slot from its dropdown, or remove it and re-add it if that's easier.
