Using the Google Photos Picker

If your record photos already live in Google Photos, you can pull them in directly during Album Scan instead of re-uploading from your device.

Bringing photos in

  1. On the Album Scan page, choose Choose from Google Photos.
  2. Pick the photos you want from your Google Photos library.
  3. Each photo lands in the Selected Photos tray, ready to assign.

Assigning photos to a slot

Every photo needs a slot so Album Scan knows what it's looking at. Each slot is optional — only add photos for what you actually have.

For a multi-disc release, the same set of label and deadwax slots repeats for each additional disc, so every side of every record gets its own place.

Tip: deadwax photos matter most for pressing identification — a clear, well-lit close-up of the runout area gives Album Scan the best chance at reading the matrix numbers accurately.
